The GR5515 Starter Kit (GR5515 SK) contains the GR5515 SK Board, a schematic diagram and a user guide.
The GR5515 SK Board is a multi-functional development board designed for Goodix GR551x System-on-Chip (SoC) - a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) SoC based on Bluetooth 5.1 standards. The GR551x SoC supports Bluetooth Mesh and integrates the ARM® Cortex®-M4F CPU, with a maximum operating frequency at 64 MHz. In addition, it provides abundant on-chip Flash & RAM and various peripheral interfaces.
The GR5515 SK Board supports the development and verification of all applications and features of the Bluetooth 5.1 protocol, including All Roles, LE Advertising Extensions, 2M PHY, LE Long Range transmission, and Multi-Connection. In addition, the GR551x SDK provides rich examples for BLE applications and peripherals, helping users quickly get started with the GR5515 SK Board.
The GR5515 SK Board offers multiple buttons, LED indicators and UART, and is equipped with a 1.44-inch TFT LCD to help verify the inputs and outputs of the GR551x SoC. The GR5515 SK Board is Arduino UNO compatible, via which the board connects to peripherals such as the G-sensor module, the heart rate sensor module and other modules.
The multiplexing of on-board GPIO interfaces facilitates users to extend peripherals such as I2C, I2S, PWM, SPI, and ADC. The GR5515 SK Board integrates QSPI Flash to further extend its memory. It also integrates SEGGER J-Link OB, an on-board debugging interface, for program downloading and debugging.
The GR551x SDK supports Keil μVision5 IDE and ARM/GCC compiler tool chains.
